What is the date of the campaign?

​

The campaign has started already and will run annually going forward.

The Mt Kilimanjaro annual event is on the 24th June 2019

Why should we get involved now?

​

Cancer affects everyone, either directly or indirectly. There is no better time than now to be part of the Family of Individuals that Care. Your pledge will assist in funding one or more of CANSA’s many initiatives, such as cancer education and care and support programmes.

 

To date, the I Believe Foundation has used funds raised to finance eye prostheses for children who have lost an eye to cancer and has raised funds for a number of other CANSA initiatives. Further funding will help the organisation to raise awareness about depression and suicide, to facilitate training and skills development programmes, and to help uplift people who are homeless or destitute.

What does the pledged message cost?

The value of the message is determined by the size and if your message has a photo as part of the message:

 

R 100: Size 20 cm x 10 cm – Personalised message with no photo on The I Believe Foundation or CANSA banner

R 1 250: Size 18cm x 12.5 cm – Personalised message with photo on The I Believe Foundation or CANSA banner

Where will the Banner be marketed?

Throughout the challenge, news updates will be published on:

Social media using, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram

I Believe Foundation’s website and CANSA Active’s website

​

Local newspapers and selected radio stations.

The banner will be unveiled fully on arrival at the airport before departure, and throughout the Mt Kilimanjaro climb including the summit and hotel departure.

Your message will receive mileage throughout the challenge and will be unveiled on the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro as  part of the Family of Individuals that Care.

You will have permission to use the WE CARE logo on any of your marketing material, advertising or social media sites.
