The objectives of the WE CARE Challenge are two-fold:
​
Objective 1:
​
-
To bring together a Family of Clubs and Associations that Care about their staff, members and loved ones who have been affected by cancer
​
-
To honour and remember staff, members and loved ones facing a cancer diagnosis
​
-
To acknowledge and support staff, members and their loved ones facing a cancer diagnosis
​
-
To acknowledge and celebrate staff, members and loved ones who have beaten cancer
​
-
To set an example to staff, members and other clubs and associations
​
-
To help unite people from all geographical areas and economic backgrounds in the fight against cancer
​
-
To demonstrate to staff, members and loved ones that they are not alone when they or their loved ones are affected by cancer.
Objective 2:
​
-
For Clubs/Associations to actively support the Challenge and pledge their Clubs/Associations logo, which will be displayed on Mt Kilimanjaro in June 2019.
​

To bring together the Staff of The Family of Clubs/Associations that Care by offering them an opportunity to pledge a personal message:
​​

in honour and in remembrance of a loved one lost to cancer
​
-
in acknowledgement and in support of a loved one with a cancer diagnosis
​
-
in acknowledgement and in celebration of a loved one who beat cancer
​
-
To donate in support of the I Believe Foundation’s Children’s Project for children who lost their eye to cancer.
​

To positively change a further two children lives who lost their eye to cancer
​
-
To join others, throughout the Challenge, by acknowledging and supporting staff, Clubs/Associations and loved ones who are affected by cancer.
​
Objective 3:
​

For Clubs/Associations to join our fundraising campaigns
​
-
Funds which are raised will be converted to a monetary pledge where the Clubs/Associations will be displayed on the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro under the Family of Clubs/Associations that care.
